Advocacy is available for individual youth and young adults wanting to access emotional support or assistance to clarify issues, solve problems, identify barriers to safety, and develop safety checking and planning skills. Advocates strives to increase clients' self-esteem and self-awareness, and improve skills in decision making and self-care. Advocates are also available to answer questions regarding protection orders (including the NEW Sexual Assault Protection Order), anti-harassment orders, no-contact orders, identity changes and provide advocacy support at civil or criminal court hearings as well as referrals for other services.
Therapy (Individual, Couples or Family Therapy) is available to youth and young adult survivors of child sexual abuse, rape, sexual assualt and/or domestic violence who would not be able to access counseling services due to lack of insurance or other barriers. Therapy services are based specifically on the needs of the youth or young adult being served. Therapy is open to any survivor who is currently, formerly, or 'at-risk' for becoming homeless (including runaways).
Educational Support Groups. Educational support groups are focused on empowerment, connection and self-care. Seperate groups are held for males, females and gender varient survivors once a year and generally run between 8 - 12 weeks based on the needs of group participants. Violence Prevention Youth Engagement. PiPE's Prevention Coordinator facilitates weekly meetings with youth and young adults to develop projects related to the prevention of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse. Projects are aimed at:
- increasing both the participants and the community's awareness of the impact of these issues and available resources,
- identifying the attitudes, values, norms and beliefs that contribute to the occurence of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse,
- increasing knowledge of strategies to act for the prevention of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse,
- decreasing isolation among homeless and high-risk youth and young adults, and
- increasing participants' access to valuable and important roles within our community!

Educational Presentations on Sexual & Domestic violence prevention are available. Presentations utilize a popular education model to invite participants to engage in conversations focused on the underlying causes of sexual and domestic violence, available resources and creating prevention strategies. Street Outreach & Inreach PiPE staff conducts outreach to youth & young adults to raise awareness of services both on the streets and through partnering agencies. Street work includes providing support services in non-traditional locations. Outreach occurs at various times of the day and evening in partnership with other community agencies, such as Community Youth Services, Arbor Manor, and the Olympia Men's Project.

Partners in Prevention is deeply committed to supporting the voice of youth who have faced issues of violence. We work directly with homeless youth and young adults to build opportunities to publish, speak, and be heard.
Youth 13 years of age and older do not need parental consent to receive mental health services.
