As we've been working away on the substantive issues in our pharmacy refusal case, our opponents launched a nasty, low-down tactic: they issued subpoenas to the Law Center asking for every document related to the rulemaking, to the litigation, to any pharmacist refusals we know about... basically, every piece of paper or e-mail, including internal strategy documents and privileged items, that has anything to do with refusals to provide emergency contraception. |

The judge ruled we do not have to produce all the internal documents which is an important victory that should never have been necessary. We lost time, and we incurred unusual expenses, which we’re sure is exactly what the anti-choice zealots wanted. Can you help us recoup some of those costs? This diversion cost us at least $13,000!
